Secret Gardens of Prague tour

🇬🇧 Bobby - the guide whose energy can light up even Malá Strana
This tour isn’t about crowds, trams, or souvenir stands. Instead, you’ll explore three hidden gardens in the heart of Malá Strana – places where history meets calm, and nature starts reclaiming what’s hers.

On this tour you’ll discover:

  • 📍 Meeting point: Winged Lion statue, Memorial to the Czechoslovak RAF Pilots, Klárov 51, 118 00, Prague 1, Czech Republic (🗺️ View on map)
  • Wallenstein Garden – baroque sculptures, koi fountain and proud peacocks
  • Vojan Gardens – the oldest (and calmest) garden in Prague
  • Franz Kafka museum
  • The narrowest street in Prague – with its own traffic light
  • Kampa Island – modern art and riverside atmosphere
  • Kampa Park – where the city breathes and time slows down

About this tour

🌿 Wallenstein Garden – baroque beauty with peacocks on patrol

We’ll start in Wallenstein Garden – a perfectly preserved baroque oasis filled with fountains, sculptures, koi fish… and white peacocks that strut around like retired ballet dancers.

Right next to it is Wallenstein Palace – today, home of the Czech Senate.
Once a symbol of aristocratic power, now a place where democracy rules.
But let’s be honest… they’ve kept the power, still want the respect – and never gave up the honor. 😄

🍏 Vojan Gardens – calm, peacocks, and free fruit

Next, we step into Vojan Gardens – the oldest and perhaps most peaceful park in Prague.
More than 30 peacocks (yes, including royal blue ones), the occasional scream cutting through the silence – and fruit trees offering sweet rewards if you visit at the right time.

Look closely, and you’ll even spot beehives. In the middle of the city.
If you ever wondered where bees live in Prague – now you know. 🐝

🧸 Kampa – where art and oddness live side by side

The final stop is Kampa – an island between the river and the city, where history blends with art and calm meets a quiet “what the heck is this?”

The oversized baby sculptures are exactly what they sound like… and somehow, not at all.
Some people laugh, others step back.
But let’s be real – a Prague without anything weird? Now that would be weird.

⛲️ Ending at the Statue of Harmony – no words, just peace

We’ll finish at the statue of Sri Chinmoy – a spiritual teacher standing with hands together in a peaceful gesture.
He doesn’t speak, doesn’t move… but somehow says a lot.
If you’re lucky, you’ll walk away with more than just a photo – though one with a peacock isn’t bad either.

Tour reviews 🏰

Bobby was fantastic, with great enthusiasm. As a local guide, Bobby knows some really interesting facts about the castle and the city that are probably not well known. This gave us a deeper appreciation of the city. I highly recommend his tours.

They go above and beyond to give you an amazing experience and earn your recommendation. It’s not about money—your satisfaction matters most. Most guests leave €15 or more per person.

If you ultimately cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate it if you could cancel your reservation in advance. That way, we give other travelers the opportunity to join the experience! 😊

Comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water to keep you going, and plenty of enthusiasm for a great time. Optional: An umbrella, in case the sky decides to get dramatic. ☁️🌧️

Don’t worry—just let us know. You can cancel or change your date at any time, and our guides will truly appreciate the heads-up (honestly!). You can easily manage your booking in the Tour Panel.

Running a few minutes late? No problem—we can share the group’s real-time location so you can catch up during the tour. It’s not ideal… but it’s better than missing out on all the history and juicy communist gossip! 😉

After two and a half hours exploring the city with our guide, you’ll realize that putting a price on this experience isn’t so easy.

Many people show up with just €15 in their pocket… but by the end (after laughing, learning, and comparing with other tours) they choose to support what we do a little more. And we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

If you’ve spent any time in Prague, you know how much a good meal or a few beers cost… or even a tour that doesn’t give you half the value. So if you enjoyed the tour, thank us in whatever way feels right. 😄

We accept Czech crowns, euros, dollars—and we’re on PayPal and Revolut too.
