Charles Bridge – stories, legends, views, and a few surprises

This isn’t just a walk across a stone bridge. It’s a journey through centuries of stories – wars, revolutions, floods… and quiet moments left behind by people history forgot.
Charles Bridge has stood here for centuries.
And even though it’s been through a lot – water, regimes, change – it’s still standing.
Calm, solid, and maybe a little tired of everyone trying to “figure it out.”

On this tour, you’ll hear about the bridge that came before it – swept away by the river.
About the saint who was thrown into the Vltava – and whose statue is now one of the most touched in Prague.

You’ll stop by statues everyone photographs but few understand, pass through a medieval alley so narrow it needs a traffic light, and stand in front of a wall of colour and poetry where John Lennon left his mark… without ever setting foot here.
By the time we step onto Charles Bridge itself, it won’t just be “that famous bridge from Instagram.”
You’ll see it through stories that breathe life into every stone.

We finish with a view that belongs on a postcard – the castle, the bridge, and the river all in one perfect line.
And when I tell you that everything we just walked through was under water in 2002…
